How to decrease on the Knifty Knitter

So you've finished the specified number of rows and now you need to do a decrease. This is the easiest way I have learned to do it.

1. First cast on all the way around (found it easier since you will need to do this anyway after the decrease.)

1. Pull the first 3 loops over. (You always want 3 pegs turned because the third one will hold the stitches together.)

2. I am using 2 different colored hooks to show it easier.

3. Using 2 hooks remove the first 2 loops keeping them on the hooks.

4. Put the first loop on the peg of the second loop in the same direction it was taken off.

5. Put the second loop on the same peg in the same direstion it was in when removed.

6. Pull the bottom loop over the top one.

You are done with the first decrease. Now repeat as necessary according to pattern.
