On March 29, 2003 George Herbert Fowler turned 80 years old.

A boy, a young man in a world at war, a husband, a father, grandfather, great-grandfather. The life of a man…. He grew up in a large family, went to war at the age of 18, returned home and went to Delhi Tech. He married Frances Louise Brown in 1946. He worked at Modern Design in Vestal and at Raymond Corporation in Greene. He has four children, ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He has always put his family first in his priorities. His life has been rich in the things money can’t buy – courage, dignity, respect, love.
